Food Jar Recipe – Corn and Wood Ear Mushroom Meatball in Soup


THERMOS model: 500ml Vacuum Insulated Food Jar



1 tablespoon sweet corn kernels

1g wood ear mushrooms; rehydrated, drained and chopped

80g pork mince

10g carrot, peeled and diced

10g onion, peeled and sliced

1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped

Salt to taste



  1. For the meatballs, mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Shape the mixture into balls using your hands.
  2. Preheat a vacuum flask by filling it with hot water. Attach the lid and shake slightly. Let sit for a minute before pouring out the water.
  3. Fill the flask with boiling water until it’s 80% full, and then add the meatballs in. Stir gently, attach the lid and shake slightly. Let sit for 15 minutes. Stir in the seasonings and serve.
